2013 SACLI Scholarship in Taiwan  

 Scholarship: 4 week Intensive English Program Tuition                                    

Eligibility: 16 years or older (as of December 31,2013)               

To apply: Submit an essay in English (250-300words maximum) to include the following points:

1. Why do you want to learn English?

2. Why do you want to study in Prince Edward Island?

3. What will you learn in a homestay?

4. How will you share your experience when you return to Taiwan?

The winner will be announced on May 31st, 2013.

The scholarship offers 4 weeks of free tuition for ONE student from Taiwan.The scholarship DOES include 25 hours per week of English classes, books, and free weekly activities.

This 4-week Intensive English Program Scholarship would NOT include the homestay. The student would need to pay for that. Our homestay families provide 3 meals per day, and transportation to and from school. (about $750 for 4 weeks)

 As part of the responsibility for winning the scholarship you will be required to do the following:

 1. Write a blog about your experience in Chinese and English and update daily. Send a picture/and or video to SACLI blog.

 2. At the end of your visit, you will be asked to give a short video recommendation about your experience at SACLI.
