Great Place for SACLI Students to Volunteer!!!

The Upper Room Soup Kitchen in Charlottetown has been serving meals to those in need since 1984. Soup kitchen自1984年就開始提供餐點給需要的人. 

The Soup Kitchen is run almost entirely by volunteers under the fantastic supervision of Bob King and his right-hand helper, Donna. Soup kitchen的各個服務項目幾乎都是由Bob King 和右手邊的助手 Donna帶領志工們完成.

Operating entirely on donations, the Soup Kitchen is non-profit and non-denominational.Soup kitchen 是個非營利事業單位,所有的運作全都靠來自各界的捐獻.

It is located on Richmond Street, right behind The Guild. Many SACLI students have volunteered at the Soup Kitchen, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.Soup kitchen在Richmond上,就在The Guild的右手邊. 許多思博的學生都曾在Soup kitchen擔任過志工,得到很多珍貴的經驗.

As you can see, Bob has a big smile and an even bigger heart! The Upper Room Soup Kitchen is a fantastic place to volunteer – and your English will improve, too! Bob 有著爽朗的笑容和寬大的胸懷,Soup kitchen將會是個值得您提供服務給需要的人的地方,而且你的英文也將會藉由透過Soup kitchen當志工的機會得到進步!!!
